During the Easter break, Claremont Fan Court School’s science and technology department have supported our local community and the NHS whilst the government lockdown continues.

A total of 120 safety specs and 6 boxes of gloves were donated to our local Princess Alice Hospice in Esher as they continue to provide vital compassionate care during this time. Our head of technology, Mr Gladstone, has also designed and produced 130 protective face shields using the school’s laser cutter which were distributed to NHS staff on the front line at St Thomas’s hospital in London at the beginning of April.

It is a pleasure to be able to support the community and NHS in this way and we extend our gratitude to all essential workers who continue to provide a vitally important service during these challenging times.

Are you a key worker or work for the NHS? Have you volunteered or donated equipment from your own companies. Please get in touch and let us know how the current COVID-19 situation is affecting you alumni@claremont.surrey.sch.uk
