Heritage Open Day 2019

Claremont celebrates 25 years of Heritage Open Day
Join us on Sunday 15 September 2019 and step back in time as we open the doors to the Claremont mansion in collaboration with Heritage open Day 2019.

This is a rare opportunity to visit the mansion, which is normally closed to the public. Claremont’s royal, political and social history spans more than 300 years, witnessing rebuilding, landscaping, death, birth, marriage, poverty, war, religion and education.

This annual event is always popular, doors to the mansion will be open from 11:00am and close at 5:00pm.

A limited number of tours of the mansion will be available at 11:30am, 12:45pm & 2:30pm, as well as a tree tour at 13:30pm. Please notet tours MUST be booked in advance here

“Many thanks to the school for opening today. It was a wonderful experience with an enthusiastic knowledgeable guide.”
Visitor 2017

“I'd like to thank you and everyone else who was involved in yesterday's opening for a really interesting visit. I had not been inside the Mansion since 1958 but so much was recognisable, and it was lovely to see it in such great condition.” Visitor 2018
