Visit to Fan Court 

On October 27th, the Development and Alumni team met with alumni Ian Kynoch, and current resident of Fan Court, Pat Crawford. Ian and Pat led us on an enjoyable and informative tour of the old school grounds which have subsequently been turned into luxury properties. We were kindly granted access to some of the older flats which still retain the original 19th century interiors, that Ian remembered fondly from school. 

It was a great opportunity for Ian to share his memories and for Pat to offer some insight into what it is like to live in a unique and historic building. We particularly enjoyed Ian’s stories of digging tunnels, going on unsupervised camping adventures and ‘flag-raiding’!
