Poor weather conditions sadly caused us to cancel our alumni fixtures back in March, so it was fantastic to be able to reschedule and welcome our alumni football teams back to Claremont Fan Court for an action packed 5-a-side football tournament on a warm summer's day at this year’s Summer Meeting.

We had eight teams registered to play this year including our newest alumni team, Respect the Hussle (Class of 2018) and the current Year 12's, School team. The hot weather conditions created tough playing conditions and the 10 minute, quick fire games proved a test for all teams. The Faculty (class of 2016), paid tribute to their former teachers by having their names on their shirts but once again it was Cassian Hyde and his Hawaiian shirted team, The Golden Generation (class of 2015) who were crowned tournament champions, retaining their 2017 title.

I was wonder to see new faces playing this year and as always the support from fellow alumni was strong. Thank you to all those who registered a football team for the event in 2018, it was great fun and we hope to see you again next year! Please do spread the word.
